MMAIO - BREAKDOWNS
amandamaiorano

After a recent trip to Atlanta to record, young MMAIO is already creating a buzz. Merging soul influences with a pop sound-she breaks down a few of her most recent songs and some cover songs at her show this February
3rd.

MMAIO, born and raised as a Jersey girl at heart, is now a powerful and soulful Recording Artist based out of New York City. At age 3, her father placed her near their family piano- only to find that she would start playing (aka banging on) the keys and begin discovering her voice! MMAIO has been singing and performing for over 15 years. A classically trained vocalist, in Middle School, she was accepted into the Bergen Choir & Regional State Choir. When she entered High School, she was singing in the NJ All State Choir, Regional State Choir, Bergen County Choir and a Madrigal Acappella Group. She wasalso selected to sing many solos in her High School musicals. In 2002, her peers selected her to sing her version of Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance" at her High School Graduation. MMAIO engages herself in eclectic, soulful and exciting music. She has worked with various producers, artists and songwriters from Sony Music, Atlantic, Jive, and Alvord Records."There is an immense joy knowing that I am doing what my soul craves to do. On top of that, the response here in New York is amazing, and soon enough, the world will know who I am and what I am here to do."MMAIO's most recent performances include those at Recoup Lounge in NYC.
