Merrill brings you a lovebale, funny, light-hearted evening  of songs and anecdotes of Shirley Temple, along with those of the  leading ladies in her films- Dorothy Dell, Rochelle Hudson, Alice Faye and others. Tap dancing and other sparkling surprises are in store as 
Merrill tells of the span of time in her childhood she refers to as "My Shirley Years." Winner of Audience Favorite at "1930's Idol" 2009.

Merrill has appeared on New York stages as Cinderella for Young People’s Concerts with The Little Orchestra Society at Avery Fisher Hall,  originated the lead role Edie Sedgwick/ Sherry in “Andy Warhol was Right” commissioned by the New York Musical Theatre Festival,  Donna in the  Los Angeles and New York premiere productions of the musical The Brain from Planet X, and Tabitha in the NY Fringe Festival production   of Slammer.  She has been a featured dancer and soloist for various productions for the New York Ziegfeld Society, and played Ivy Smith in  the Staten Island Philharmonic’s production of On the Town.  

Regionally Merrill has been seen as a soloist in Overtures at the Kennedy Center, various characters in Atlanta’s Theatre of the Stars productions of Music Man and Beauty and the Beast, in the lead role of Anne Marie in Disney Dreams for the Disney Cruise Line, as Louisa in The Fantasticks for Wisconsin’s Pinewood Dinner Theatre, as Maria in West Side Story for Wisconsin’s Northern Lights Theatre, as Yum-Yum in the Mikado for Footlight theatre in Indianapolis, as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz and Chava in Fiddler On The Roof for New Hampshire’s  Palace Theatre, and as the Mistress in Evita, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, and Maggie in A Chorus Line for New Hampshire’s Lakes Region Theatre. Merrill has appeared as Mary in the feature film Christmas in New York directed by Victorio Neri, and in the lead role of Kate in the independent film Bankrupt directed by Kris Brown.  Merrill’s 
recordings include: the original cast album of The Brain from Planet X , and is the soloist on the Busch Gardens theme Living in Harmony.  As the queen of readings of new musicals, Merrill has read leads in Cheer Wars, Human Interest, The 49th Day, Be Young and Shut Up,Warsaw, A Visual Life, Soap Opera- the Musical, Little Miss Fix-It,  How to Kill a Princess, I am Jim Thompson, Opening Night, and This is Not a Torture of a Machine, Easybake.
