Hailing from Buffalo, Will Holton is a Nu Jazz, R&B Saxophonist, producer and songwriter known as one of Buffalo’s own Jazz Great. Will is a self-taught musical genius who honed his talent in church on Sundays after receiving his first sax from his father when he was a junior in high school. This was his humble beginning to his continuous grassroots grind.
Will has a reputation of being a smooth, yet savvy musician. He has performed alongside and with such musical notables as his longtime friend "2x Grammy Nominee & Pioneer of Smooth Jazz" -- Najee, American Idol Winner-Ruben Studdard, "Grammy Award Winning Singer"-India Arie and formerly with Incognito-Maysa Leak. He has also played for such greats as Stanley Jordan, Keyshia Cole, Carl Thomas, Joseph Wooten and Jon B, and he received the prestigious Buffalo Music Award as New Original 1st Year Artist! He is a saxophonist on the rise in the world of jazz and has forged his place in music with his debut CD “Always” and second CD “Love Stories Untold ~ Volume 1”, as well as recording with the international choir "The New Beginnings Chorale Ensemble".
Will is also known for his work in the community of Western NY as a mentor, guest artist, guest reader, and guest speaker at community centers and schools for the youth. His commitment to children is quite visible in efforts with the American Cancer Society and his “Reach Out and Lift Up” Campaign targeting the youth in WNY.
Ryan "Ryan J" Joseph born and raised in Americas Paradise the US Virgin Islands on the beautiful 82 square mile Island of St. Croix. Ryan was exposed to a wide array of music from an early age that ranged from Soca, Calypso, Reggae, R&B, Hip-hop and Jazz. While in the 7th grade, Ryan began playing the trumpet at Arthur A. Richards Jr. High School in St. Croix and continued playing through college. His extensive studies of the instrument earned him Primary Chair (1st trumpeter) in the Drexel University Jazz Ensemble. Upon receiving his bachelor’s degree from Drexel, his music career was put on hold as he pursued an athletic career.
The artist that we now know as "Ryan J" didn't come into existence until 2005 after writing and recording his first track entitled Dreams. On November 18th, 2008, Ryan released his debut LP that was met with rave reviews. Ryan is considered to be a young influential jazz musician on the rise; playing with prominent jazz legends and leading his own jazz quartet.
