This is Your Night!(TM) is based on a classic premise that is hosted by Metropolitan Room Managing Partner, Bernie Furshpan, and profiles a guest honoree who has contributed in some significant way to the NYC Entertainment Industry.  It can include, but not limited to: photographers, writers, bloggers, press, promoters, management, publicists, directors, musical directors, producers, etc.

The show presents a gift to the honorree, and includes a line-up of entertainment professionals who will share stories, song and comedy about they're experiences and ends with a grand finale, a reunion.

A portion of the revenue will be given to the Guest of Honor's Charity of Choice.

Woody Allen said "Eighty percent of success is showing up." In that case, I know few more people more successful than Maryann Lopinto. Maryann is always there. Ever since I met her in the early 90's when she was helping us all during the Lyrics and Lyricist diva fests and Donald Smith's Cabaret Conventions, she's been on the front line of what goes on in our music. If something needs to be done, she does it. Her devotion to cabaret and the artists who share this music has been constant. At one point she became known as "the cabaret nurse" because she always knew what to do to help someone through a show no matter how they felt.  Through the years she has become quite an archivist, taking pictures and video of many if not most of the major cabaret events, honoring the legacy of our
country's great music. Maryann always has a kind word to say and a humble and generous heart. I am so happy
she is being given this night of acknowledgement and I am honored to add to the garlands of gratitude to her. I
love you, Maryann!
