Jennie Walker is a singer who pens her own music and is known for her lush tones and brutally honest lyrics.  She worked with Grammy nominated producer, Tommy Faragher, on her debut album, Night Flight to London, which was released digitally on October 3, 2011.  The album entered the China market in 2013.  Jennie and Tommy received national and international recognition for their song, “It’s Our Time”, which was inspired by Senator Hillary Clinton’s New Hampshire Primary win and gained an enormous following among Clinton supporters and was written about in Time Magazine, The New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, Boston Globe, French Daily papers La Croix and Le Libre, and regional publications Temple Daily Telegram, Columbus Ledger Enquirer. They had a #1 song placement on top UK indie band site, Overplay, as well as the Japanese indie band site, YouMusic. She won the Overplay Play & Rate competition in 2007 for their song “Black Hat.” Their song “Simon” is on the “Pure Sounds from the Underground” compilation CD, which was distributed through F.Y.E. and itunes. Jennie was awarded the 2008 Indie Artist Award from Starliners, an internet radio station in The Netherlands in September 2008. The Artists Forum in New York named her one of the Top 10 Artists to Watch in May 2008. Her mobile website, www.jenniewalker.mobi, was nominated for the I Love Mobile Web Awards in 2008.
 
In 2011 Jennie Walker won the British Airways Face of Opportunity Contest with her music business pitch around her debut album release and was recognized as a Top 10 entry out of thousands. She won a trip to London and Rome to promote her business internationally during February 2011. While in London, Jennie participated in radio interviews and meetings with potential partners. British Airways supported  her debut album "Night Flight to London" with a five month in-flight audio campaign beginning August 2011 and continuing through December, 2011.
 
Jennie Walker is an Advisor and President Emeritus of the Georgia Music Industry Association (GMIA) where she produced monthly music education panels, song critiques, Open Mic Night’s as well as an annual Country Music Songwriters Showcase and an all genre Songwriters Showcase, during Georgia Music Week Festivities. She was awarded GMIA’s President’s Award for volunteer service in 1997. She has also appeared on top radio and TV programs such as WBAI 99.5 FM New York, HOT 97.5 FM Atlanta, Good News Broadcast, and Good Day Atlanta. She has been written up in China Today. Walker also helped to produce the 2006 charity album “Serve” for World Hunger Year and The Hard Rock Café, which features the artists Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith, as well as numerous other top recording artists.
