Erin Cross at Metropolitan Room

Erin Cross  brings a unique stylistic viewpoint to whatever she sings, and in this program, she gives voice to 20th century classics with a sound that is as fresh as it is sensuous.
In her Art, she has a need that she cannot deny: to allow her soul to speak through whatever music she sings
As has been the way with artists such as Patsy Cline, Carole King and Linda Ronstadt, Erin has found her authentic voice despite a string of stops, starts and diversions.
What once seemed challenging and unreachable has proven to lead to her to destiny's door.
Erin's debut at The  Metropolitan Room  promises a night of music that is sure to touch a part of your soul while paying homage to the music that has touched hers.
Erin Cross Bio
Over a year in the making, Erin Cross at The Metropolitan Room is pinnacle event enroute to Erin’s destiny, the absolute need to sing.
The show has taken many directions, always returning to the same core artists and their work.  Patsy Cline, Carole King, KD Lang and Billy Joel to name a few, have served as Erin’s inspiration through her artistic exploration. It is the honesty of their soul through music that moves us and compels to hear what they have to say.
Armed with not only a solid vocal foundation, Erin holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Education.  Simply put, when Erin is not on the stage performing, you may walk into her classroom and find her working, or “performing” with her middle school students as Choral and Drama Director.
Although trained classically, Erin is very passionate about musical theatre and the music that moves her. Erin has studied tirelessly to execute the seamless vocal transition through not only classical repertoire and musical theatre, but jazz, pop and rock as well as other contemporary styles.
Erin’s future plans include new cabaret productions exploring various genres.
What speaks to her soul is what Erin must sing.
