For Alison Burns the passion for performing began at the early age of 2 when her parents say she began harmonizing with them as they rehearsed songs with their church band. Following in her parent’s footsteps, Alison’s first solo was in church, as well as her first tour. At the ripe age of twelve Burns booked a southern tour with gospel group, The Young Continentals, and recorded her first album with Generation Blessed just a few years later. It was clear, her career had started but she insisted on developing her talent, and so she moved to New York City to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Just two months after graduation Burns booked her first Broadway National Tour with RENT! where she stepped into the swing position. After a year on tour she re-signed as Maureen where she "jumped over the moon" for audiences all over the US. and Canada.

Lulu Picart (@lulupicart) recently starred in the Off Broadway Production of Disenchanted!, for which she was nominated for a Lucille Lortel award. She also tours with composer David Friedman presenting his music in Listen to My Heart: the Songs of David Friedman. She has sung with Toxic Audio, The Voices of Liberty, and the Orlando Philharmonic and has been featured in the Orlando Cabaret Festival and the Avignon Jazz Festival. Her favorite roles include Johanna (Sweeney Todd), Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), Susie (Wit), and Joanne (Rent). Lulu was a judge for The American Idol Experience at Walt Disney World and has adjudicated for the Florida Vocal Association. She serves as clinician for small vocal ensembles and large choirs and holds masterclasses in performance and working with accompanists. As a musical director, she has worked for freeFall Theatre, Mad Cow Theater, and Walt Disney World. Lulu can currently be seen as Gooch in feeFall Theatre's production of Mame!
