Adriana Napolitano ~ Making Waves
Join soulful siren, Adriana Napolitano, as she effortlessly navigates an eclectic range of musical waters from classical, to the blues and a selection of self-written songs. This emerging artist will captivate you as you journey into the summer of her soul.
Adriana Napolitano holds a Bachelor’s degree in classical vocal performance from Manhattan School of Music. She has worked as a professional cantor for over a decade at various churches throughout the tri-state area and is a soloist for Immaculate Conception Church in Secucus, NJ. Although classically trained, she enjoys crossing different genres and playing with different sounds.  She is a voice student of Dr. Melanie Mitrano and a songwriting student of Carla Ulbrich. Earlier this year, she participated in The Metropolitan Room’s “Annual Cabaret 24HR. Marathon Extravaganza”. She debuted her cabaret show, “Making Waves” at The Duplex, and has been a featured “f-spot” artist at “D’Ambrose Boyd & David Pearl Singers Space Open Mic” at Bar Thalia. Adriana has been a guest artist in Victor Neufeld’s “Victor’s Best Show Ever” and has performed original compositions for various contemporary composers. She has won the 2013 “Somerset Patriots National Anthem Competition” and has performed with the non-profit organization CAST. She was also guest artist for The Filipino Society of Secaucus’ Philippine Typhoon Haiyan Benefit. Adriana is a songwriter and is currently working on an EP which is due to be released later this spring. She would like to thank Bernie and Joanne Furshpan for the amazing opportunity to share her passion and love for music with the Metropolitan Room!
