The Q Returns to the Metropolitan Room this Fall. Joseph Macchia producer and creator is bringing back his talk show The Q

Joining Joseph on the panel will be Thomas Dieter and Shawn Moninger and Special Guest Host Marcus Phillips . There has been The View, The Chew and The Talk but nothing like The Q ...and it's hosted by all gay men who vary in interests, abilities and backgrounds. There's the Long Islander with a leathery past, the free-spirited southern boy with a thing for attention, and the reverend who knows a thing or two about what's GOOD. They sing, they joke, they talk, and they're up for most anything. Special guests to include singers and musicians, comics and writers, florists and sex-toy store owners, among others. Specialty Topics and more to be discussed.

Performing on Oct 8th Drag Queens Ruby Rims, Ruby Powers and Nomi Sas

The hosts will discuss "The Art Of Drag" with the three queens, on what nade them decide to go into Drag, how the art of Drag has changed over the years.

The four hosts will compete in a high heel walking contest.

Also Joseph and the hosts will show you how to put on a fabulous Halloween party on a budget.
Plus a Whole Lot More.

Here is a little bit about the hosts

Thomas Dieter is a man of many talents, but needlepoint is not one of them. He started performing when he was eight years old, and his passion has taken him around the world, from Austria and Germany to China, Romania, Texas, Oregon and now New York. Since moving to the city, Thomas has performed on a number of stages, including at Lincoln Center, Town Hall, Daryl Roth, Pace, NYU and the Metropolitan Room. In addition to his love for the stage, Thomas believes passionately in educational opportunities and access to quality teaching for all, and when not performing and writing, he directs two developmental education programs at LaGuardia Community College and volunteers with a kayaking and education non-profit that gets NYC public school kids on the water and teaches them about the surrounding harbor and how we can take care of it. As a performer, Thomas has been seen recently as a member of the singing quartet Fourte, and Thomas was first-runner up in last year's MetroStar Talent Challenge at the Metropolitan Room. He wrote and debuted "Varza! The Romanian Adventure" - a one-man show chronicling his experiences as a Peace Corp Volunteer - and his next show, "Cosmos and Go," comes out this fall.

Rev. Shawn Moninger,– Rev. Shawn is an ordained Unity Minister. He has served as minister
of Unity Center of Norwalk in Norwalk, Ct. since 2004. In 2015 Shawn made his cabaret debut
with his solo stand-up comedy act "Because I Can" or "A Sermon With Swearing" at the Metropolitan Room in New York City, for which he was MAC nominated for Male Debut performance ran for twelve jam-packed shows. Look for his new show,;Because I Can 2 -THE SECOND ADDICTION opening October 1st at The Metropolitan Room in NYC. And now Shawn is featured in a new TALK adventure at The Metropolitan Room THE Q.
