Gunhild Carling is a Swedish jazz musician and multiinstrumentalist. Famous for playing three trumpets at the same time. Carling became known for her 20 July 2010 performance at Allsång på Skansen. The same year she became an expert commentator for Dansbandskampen at SVT. Gunhild plays Trombone, Bagpipes, Trumpet and Recorder, and will often showcase all of her skills in one song, sometimes casually breaking into a tap dance and singing the roof off. Carling competed as a celebrity dancer in Let's Dance 2014 on TV4 placing third.
In 2013 she performed with her Carling big Band at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in the celebration of the King Carl XVI Gustaf 40 year on the swedish throne. In 2016 Gunhild Carling performed at the King Carl XVI Gustafs 70th birtday celebrations.
She is featured with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox version of 'Never Going to Give You Up' sampling multiple instruments, as well as a 1920's jazz swing version of 'Material Girl'.
