Shrimani Senay spent years in regional theater and TV playing an array of hookers, miscreants and occasional queen. She eventually 86'd her acting career and went to live in a monastery. No, really. Lately, the St. Louis native is serving up a witty mix of jazz and blues that is both old school and modern. Her eclectic song choices and well observed commentary evidence a point of view that is uniquely her own. This is her Metropolitan Room debut.
