Trip to France: $2,000. Hotel with a view of the Eiffel tower: $600 a night. Bottle of Trip to France: $2,000. Hotel with a view of the Eiffel tower: $600 a night. Bottle of champagne: $100.  Night in Paris in the city of New York being mesmerized and serenaded by none other than Floanne, Timeout NY’s «French Madonna»: priceless.  Treat yourself to a night in Paris without even leaving home.  Floanne envelopes you with style and originality that eases you into a relaxed mood and leaves at the end of the night full of romance and forgetting where you are and where you came from... like in a Woody Allen movie.
In her new show «Love is French», Floanne explores, rather academically... love.  Come together and smile, blush, enjoy the most romantic love songs... alone, in couple, or on a blind date.  This jazz cabaret concert with a comedic flavor, a lot of personality and romantic overtones will leave you with much to explore and talk about, even if you disagree.
In a jazz cabaret show of French chanson with a modern twist, Floanne takes you on a journey of love through time in the French culture, with songs originally performed by Edith Piaf, Juliette Greco, Charles Trenet and so many more great writers.  So whether you are treating yourself or another, come and revisit love from where it first originated--France--because after all, French is the language of love, and Love is French.

Floanne's vocal repertoire includes french classics and original songs.  She performed sold out shows at Joe's Pub, the New York Botanical Gardens, the Triad Theater and the Metropolitan Room, where she holds a monthly residency.

She has performed on NPR, For Your Ears Only, as well as French national TV (Echappées Belles on France 5, 100% Mag on M6 and Rendez-Vous d'Amérique on TV5 Monde).  She studies opera voice as a coloratura soprano with April Evans, and learned her craft as a chanteuse under the mentorship of Lina Koutrakos and Daniel Isengart.  Her hit show is "Edith Piaf Alive" has been selling out top venues and elevated Floanne to become an ambassador of French culture in New York.

She works as an actress and director under the name "Flo Ankah".  Please visit for more information.

Undeniably effective renditions.  The youthful twenties-something performed with abundant energy. Her enthusiasm and palpable bliss bespoke genuine enchantement with her subject.

The last time I felt shivers down my spine was at Floanne’s concert. Her voice is very unique with a ‘je ne sais quoi’ hypnotizing effect.
—Agathe Leroy, She is French

The show was bewitching; we were all suspended to Floanne’s lips and sensual moves. This journey was intense and full of nostalgia, humor, rhythm, love, life, and experience.
—Kenza Yarhfouri, French Culture Guide

Floanne brings a message of hope and happiness with rhythm and ease.
