“The Break-Up Show: Breaking Up Is The Thing To Do…”
Special Encore Performance! Winner of NY’s MAC Award “Best Male Vocalist 2012” Craig reprises his latest show. Craig will take you on a ride along the melodious and rocky road away from love with laughs and the promise of new romance as a part of the journey! From Neil Sedaka to Cole Porter, from serious to deliriously silly, and from start to finish, this is a party you won't want to miss. As Irving Berlin would ask, “What’ll I do?” Leo Robin and Lewis Gensler might say “Love is just around the corner… So spend the night with Craig in a show that guarantees both smiles and sighs.
Winner of NY’s MAC “Best Male Vocalist 2012” Craig Pomranz, a fixture on the international nightclub scene, will be returning to The Metropolitan Room. With a vocal quality reminiscent of heart-melting tenors like Johnny Mathis, Chet Baker and Jimmy Scott, he has been described as one of the dreamiest voices in the music industry. Craig has distinguished himself consistently in his live shows by performing music from the Great American Songbook that is not over-recorded, contemporary pop, as well as more unusual songs he has collected from songwriters through the years. Pomranz crafts shows that feel freshly minted each night, like a nightclub act at the Copa from the golden days, and audiences can expect witty banter with his music director Stephen Bocchino, fast-paced entertainment, and moments of deeply moving beauty. In addition to his solo performances, he has shared the stage with Dame Cleo Laine, Barbara Cook, Betty Buckley and Ann Hampton Callaway.
