Description: STATE OF MIND
Kim Canzani started her career immediately after graduating from Adelphi University with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre. She worked for several theatre and production companies and sang her way across New York City from the decks of The Spirit of New York to the famous Greenwich Village piano bars. Her style has been referred to as “torchy with a touch of humor” which, in her opinion, is extremely necessary in life.
While the music never stopped, over time, Kim made a professional home in corporate America, where she now works as a building manager for Savitt Partners, a real estate company in the heart of the Fashion District. This personal cabaret is the result of life throwing too many curve balls at her to ignore. She decided to sing again after a 16 year hiatus as a tribute to the “single” New Yorker, always finding fun and happiness in a city that never sleeps.
Kim is a devout New Yorker and has lived in the city for 25 years. She loves animals, traveling, decorating, shopping, running, laughing, parties, music and the New York Yankees.
