John Arthur Greene ('Riff' in Broadway's West Side Story) will present his solo show titled JAG! Fusing his musical influences from rock ‘n’ roll and musical theater, and even his own rockin' compositions, Greene uses this autobiographical JAG! to take us on the journey of his life thus far. From his youth as a preachers son, to his struggles as an aspiring rocker and on to his life on the Broadway stage. JAG explores the universal themes of young love, lost and found, and reflects on the moments that make us who we are and get us where we're going. JAG is a musical experience that reminds us all that the journey can ROCK!
John Arthur opened to sold out audiences and rave reviews in Vienna, Paris and London’s internationally celebrated theatres including Theatre du Chatelet in Paris and Sadler’s Wells in London. He has performed for a host of celebrities, been choreographed by brilliance and directed by giants including the late great Arthur Laurents. Greene, who made his Broadway debut as Riff in West Side Story, was featured as Action & Riff in the 50th Anniversary European Tour of the musical and has appeared Off-Broadway in Mim, and The Johnny. Some of Greene's favorite credits include Tick Tick Boom, Chess, Jekyll & Hyde, Hairspray, Romeo and Juliet, Beauty & the Beast, Blood Brothers, and Pippin. Greene did the out of town tryout of Whoopi Goldberg's White Noise. He has led Workshops with Broadway Classroom, Broadway Dreams Foundation, and Music 4 Autism. Greene has performed all over NYC doing his solo shows at Times Square New Years Eve, Dixon Place, Joe’s Pub, The Bitter End, The Bowery, Le Poison Rouge and Metropolitan Room. Greene has been working on his solo album "Shadows Of Light", which is set to be released soon!
