- Yoshino Nakahara (Piano): She is a pianist, composer and educator from Tokyo, Japan. In 2009, she came to the U.S. and started to fully concentrate on studying Jazz Piano at Berklee College of Music with a scholarship. She has been performing her original compositions and Jazz/Fusion/Latin tunes with her band at various venues including Lily pad, Cafe Luna, MIT, Harvard club and Hilton Hotel in Boston, and then has moved her home base to New York.
- Leon Boykins (Bass): Leon is a double bassist and composer based in New York City. While living in Philadelphia, he quickly made a name for himself as both a performer and an educator. Throughout the years he has performed in major venues of the NY jazz scene and have had the opportunity to share the stage with many musical greats. Notable performances include appearances with Orrin Evans, John Swana, Ben Schacter, Ari Hoenig, Allan Harris and Terell Stafford. He is also the recipient of various music awards including the Pittsburgh Jazz Society/Mellon Jazz Festival scholarship, Downbeat Magazines outstanding soloist award.
- Evan Sherman (Drums): Evan spent four years as the principal drummer with The Jazz Standard Youth Orchestra. Evan was selected for the GRAMMY Jazz Ensemble in 2010 and 2011. He recorded two CDs at Capital Records, appeared on CBS's "The Talk", and performed with James Moody, Hubert Laws, Anthony Wilson, Kenny Burrell, and Esperanza Spalding. Also in 2011, Evan was named a winner in jazz at YoungArts. he has played at many venues in the New York area, including The Jazz Standard, Smalls, Smoke, Fat Cat and more. He has performed with many of the top jazz musicians.
- Special Guest Gilad Hekselman (Guitar): Since his arrival to New York in 2004, he has been earning a reputation as one of the most promising guitarists in New York. He has shared the stage with many top names from the New York jazz scene including Chris Potter, Mark Turner, John Scofield, Anat Cohen, Jeff Ballard, Gretchen Parlato, Avishai E. Cohen, Jeff 'Tain' Watts, Ari Hoenig, Aaron Parks and Eric McPhearson. He has played the Blue Note, The Jazz Gallery, Smalls, 55 Bar, Dizzy's Club and toured all over the world. He has played in a lot of world famous Jazz festivals. He is the Winner of the 2005 Gibson Montreux International Guitar Competition. His debut album SplitLife released by Smalls Records in the summer of 2006 and featuring bassist Joe Martin and drummer Ari Hoenig, received rave reviews from the press.
