Description:Born and raised in Mt. Vernon, NY, Glenda began her professional singing career in June, 1992. She was a winner at The World Famous Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night in April 1993; her Quartet opened for comedian Bill Cosby at Purchase College, April 1994. Festivals: Saratoga Jazz Festival, July 1995, as exclusive vocalist with tenor saxophonist Carmen Leggio’sQuartet; the Binghamton Jazz Festival, July 2010, 2011 and 2012 with the Miles Ahead Quartet with Michael Carbone, tenor sax.
