Let me guess. It’s December and you still don’thave that perfect gift for that very special someone. Sure, you could go out and buy an expensive pair of diamond earrings. But what would he want with diamonds? You’re in the market for something original. Something surprising.Something that will keep your unhealthy relationship in tact for at least one more year. Let’s face it: you’re in trouble. Because Jewish or not, that man of  yours is expecting to be dazzled on Christmas morning. And that’s when you see it, shining brighter than the star of Bethlehem. An ad for “The Kellen and Joe Christmastime Show”. And suddenly all of your problems are solved. Because something about Joe’s eyes makes you suddenly realize that you never really loved your boyfriend anyway. And then you look at Kellen and something about his eyes makes you suddenly look back at Joe’s eyes for another minute or two. And the next thing you know you’re single and completely free to spend an evening  enjoying original tunes from the Kinosian and Blair songbook, as sung by some of  Broadway’s hottest talent. And now you’re listening to songs and laughing at  funny things and crying at tender things and... well, well, well...is it just me or did that cute guy in the corner just wink at you?

Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair are the co-creators of Murder For Two, the murder mystery musical comedy currently enjoying its fourth extension at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and the recent winner of the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Work - Musical.

Joe and Kellen started writing togetherafter meeting at the BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop where they’recurrently advanced members. Other work includes Pirates Don’t Change Diapers(for TheatreWorks, USA) and two Christmas songs for the 2009 and 2010 LincolnCenter Annual Holiday Songbooks. They’re also graduates of the 2010 JohnnyMercer Songwriting Project and winners of a 2011 ASCAPLUS award. They’re currently in development on several new musical projects.
