The Neostalgia Quartet is an international ensemble featuring French singer composer Pascalito (aka Pascal Sabattier), Brazilian pianist and musical director Luiz Simas and a young rhythm section including Brazilian bassist Leco Heis and American drummer Conor Meehan. The band performs an eclectic and bilingual repertoire blending bossa nova, pop, flamenco, swing, tango and chanson, taking the listener on a timeless musical journey filled with jazzy sophistication and cinematic lyricism.

Mediterranean by heart. Parisian by birth. New Yorker by choice. Latin by soul. World Chanteur.
Recently naturalized US citizen, French singer, composer, bandleader and poet Pascalito was born, Pascal Sabattier, in Paris to a musical family of Mediterranean Jewish descent. He relocated to New York in the late 90’s where he became a rising young talent on the jazz and world music scene performing at such venues as Le Poisson Rouge and the Kitano, while supporting his artistry working as a risk analyst for various investment banks. Described by Jazz Times Magazine as a “multicultural music anthropologist”, Pascalito released two prior albums Le Blues d’Orphée (2007) with selections featured in the popular cable TV network shows Burn Notice (USA) and Damages (FX), and the critically acclaimed world pop jazz crossover Neostalgia (2011). His “handsome voice” (Time Out), elegant phrasing, songwriting abilities and “musical melting pot” (All About Jazz) suggest influences from artists as various and international as Charles Aznavour, Scott Walker, Henri Salvador, Chet Baker, Nina Simone, Claude Nougaro and Caetano Veloso.
